Day Passes are another type of temporary membership, allowing a customer (or group of customers) to check in as many times as they wish up until the pass expires. A day pass can be created for any number of days. For example, a 7 Day Pass would allow the customer to check in as much as they want for 7 days.
Since a day pass is a type of product, setting them up and selling them is a snap.
Start by creating a new product
Set the name to something like "7 Day Pass" or "Day Pass - 7". The number serves as the maximum number of days allowed on the day pass.

Donezo. To sell the day pass, we'll use the Invoicing P.O.S.

Create the invoice!
When the invoice is created, it'll also create a day pass for the member. You can view the day pass from the invoice, or from the members profile. A day pass can be edited once it's created, and you can also add additional members to the day pass.
To consider another scenario, let's assume that we have two people that just showed up and want to climb for the day. You would still do the same as you would above, only you would increase the quantity to account for the other person.
After the customer is charged, you will be able to add the other customer to the day pass. One the other customer is added, both customers will be able to check in.
